Mummy been an got this thing what she can put all her photographic slides onto the laptop.  She spent the last few days putting slide after slide through this thing and going awwww and ahhh when she looks a slides from her childhood.  I was amazed cos I never thought they had cameras back when dirt was a lad (giggles behind paws very grateful mummy don't read this).  I thought I'd put some on here, so you can see what she looked like waaaaaaaaaaay back in time.

Mummy on a horse, so it was before cars were born (giggles)

Paddling in the sea with her daddy and her big brother

So there you go, there was life back in the 20th century.  If I hadn't seen the evidence myself I would never have believed it!

Sunday 20 January 2013

Well, we has all this white stuff falling from the sky again.  I love this snow, it's great for chasing, snuffling, digging and generally having fun in.

Mum had to drive home from work in the snow on Friday, and instead of it taking her the usual 10 minutes it took her 50.  Most people were driving carefully and sensibly but there is always a few idiots.  Although it was daytime and visibility was good most people had their lights on and kept a long distance between each other.

This was the view from our front window on Friday

Lets have a quick year countdown shall we?
January started with wind and rain and snow, so Ceefer , Jasmine and I stayed indoors with me only going out when I had to and mummy just going out to get us food etc.

February carried on where January left off so that was much the same.

March was lovely with warm sunny days and blue sky to sun bathe under and keep my belly warm.

April mummy turned even older than she was before.

May I turned 5 and had a big party to celebrate.

June Ambrose the skitten was born.... little did we know what we were letting ourselves in for.

July was supposed to be the start date for the new kitchen and bathroom but this being the council, they cancelled and we had to wait for a new start date.

August the work started on the kitchen and bathroom and it was well worth the wait.  Mummy is still over the moon about them.

September, the work was finished on the kitchen and bathroom and Willow and Ambrose arrived.  Mammy Ally dropped them off and just left us to it.  That Ambrose still has no idea of his place in life.

October saw Willow and Ambrose settle in and Ambrose won the hearts of Ceefer and Jasmine and I tolerate him.  He is a cheeky kitten taking all kinds of liberties.

November saw us celebrating Ceefer's 7th birthday and Jasmine's fisrt Gotcha day....  Now that was a party to remember!  Mummy started her new job, and we had to get used to being woken up at ungodly hours of the morning although it did mean we got breakfast early.

December carried on much as November, getting up at ungodly o'clock so mummy could get ready for work, then came the news that the job was being made permanent, so early mornings are in our life forever now :(

So that was our year, goodness only knows what 2013 holds but we are heading into it with our heads held high, our shoulders back, ready to face whatever it may throw at us.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE

Sunday 25 November 2012

Well, mummy has finally got a job.  It's only a temporary job at the moment for Christmas cover but hopefully it will turn into a permanent job.  She likes the work, she likes the people and they like her (strange but true) so paws crossed.

The only thing we don't like (and I include the cats in that statement) is the fact she is now getting up at 5.30am!  She starts at 7am so has to get up,feed us,  showered, dressed and ready to leave the house by 6.30.  Watching her looking in the mirror and putting on make up that early is funny.  She doesn't like looking at her face that close at the best of times and early it's even worse  :)

So paws crossed we will have even better treats next year xxx

Sitges

My beautiful friend Sitges has passed to the Rainbow Bridge.
Sitges was passionate about all things pink, insisting that all decorating was done in pink.

She was recently married to her long term love Denzil in a beautiful ceremony on a gorgeous September day.

Following the wedding they had a wonderful honeymoon with a world wide trip.

Sitges has been taken from us at her time of greatest happiness.  We send our love to her beloved husband, brother, sister and parents.

Run free at the bridge Sitges, till we meet again xxx

That skitten (scary kitten) is a menace.  The agreement is I have downstairs (apart from Ceefer coming in and out) and the cats have upstairs.  This has worked well till now.  The skitten has decided he should have access all areas.  As if!  I do not go upstairs, I will not go upstairs, I do not like stairs.  Now he thinks he can come down into my part of the house as he wishes.  This morning for example he came down when mummy had gone to have her flu jab.  She came home to find him sitting on the table as if he owned the place.  This is not on!  I have to find a way of keeping him in his place.  Mummy won't let me put a door up at the bottom of the stairs so I need ideas. All ideas welcome :)

Look at him, just like he owns the place pfft!

Monday 24 September 2012

The new kitties is here.  The little one Ambrose is very full of himself and thinks everybody should love him.  He thinks I am a bit big and can get kinda hissy if I get to close to him.  He is only a baby, 15 weeks old now, but he sounds like a baby elephant when he chasing Jasmine.
This picture was taken before he broke the ball off the cat tree.  Look at the size of those ears, he is never gonna grow into them.

Willow is much more laid back than her hooligan son.  She keeps herself to herself most of the time, sitting either in the window or in the cat carry box.  She is very beautiful with her cheek bones that could cut glass, she is definitely from some posh oriental origin.
Isn't she lovely?
